The 2019 Lake Fenton Fall Regatta was a blast as usual and very competitive with thirteen boats from six different lakes. The weather was great with sun and wind aplenty both days. In total we sailed seven races with one throw out race. We had a very competitive fleet with six different race winners. Everyone enjoyed the traditional Fenton hospitality and had plenty of food, drink, and socializing. All were happily sore on Saturday night after five hard races in medium-heavy air and secretly hoped for a lighter air Sunday, but it blew almost as hard on Sunday for the final two races. Thanks to all who helped make this regatta possible and to the exceptional race committee lead by the legendary David Nickels and son Kevin as has become tradition with help from multiple other veteran LFSC members.
